SERVICES
See below for details of our services and answers to FAQs for: Brake Fluid Service / Coolant Service / Differential & Driveline Service / Fuel Induction Service / Power Steering Service / Transmission Service
1. Brake Fluid Service
Our trained technician may recommend performing a brake fluid service based on the condition of fluid along with consideration for the age of your vehicle and mileage.
We can test the contamination and corrosive level of your brake fluid with a simple test strip. The result will show a contamination level. The higher the level of contamination, the more the risk of corrosion of the braking system.
The age and quality of the brake fluid affects the whole operation of the braking system, particularly, obviously, the ability of the car to stop in a short distance.
2. Coolant Service
Our trained technician may recommend performing a coolant service based on the PH of your vehicle’s antifreeze.
Antifreeze may, in as little as two seasons, break down to a point where it no longer protects the key components of your cooling system. A fall below 8 on the PH scale exposes your radiator, heater core, water pump, freeze plugs, engine head gaskets and engine block to corrosion.
A simple cooling system flush and service today will help reduce very expensive repairs down the road.
3. Differential / Driveline Service
Our trained technician may recommend performing a differential service based on the condition of fluid along with consideration for the age of your vehicle and mileage.
High mileage and age causes oxidation and viscosity fatigue, causing an inability of the fluid to continue cleaning and lubricating as it should. The consequences are an increase in operating temperature and abrasions on the differential, eventually leading to mechanical failure.
A differential service today will considerably reduce the risk of expensive repairs later.
4. Fuel Induction Service
Our trained technician may recommend performing a fuel induction service based on the conditions found in the throttle body, along with consideration for the age and mileage of your vehicle. If your vehicle's throttle body has heavy gunky deposits this indicates the same condition is present in the combustion chamber.
We clean and remove deposits - improving your vehicle's performance and fuel economy, saving you money at the pump.
5. Power Steering Service
Our trained technician may recommend performing a power steering service based on the condition of the fluid and the age and mileage of your vehicle.
If recommended your fluid will be dark, thick and lifeless, new fluid is bright, translucent and lively. Power steering fluid has two functions: to clean and to lubricate. Oxidized and worn-out fluid can do neither.
Your power steering system operates at 1000-2000 psi, more than ten times the pressure of any other system in the vehicle. Operating temperature of steering components increases as the fluid fails, unable to clean and lubricate. Heat is the major cause of PS failure.
A PS service will help reduce the risk of component failure and replacements down the road.
6. Transmission Service
Our trained technician may recommend performing a transmission service based on the condition of fluid along with consideration for the age of your vehicle and mileage since the last change.
If recommended your fluid will be dark, thick and lifeless, new fluid is bright, translucent and lively. Transmission fluid has two functions: to clean and to lubricate. Oxidized and worn-out fluid can do neither.
The consequences are a build-up of sludge in the transmission, and an increase in operating temperature, eventually leading to transmission failure.
Transmission service today will considerably reduce the risk of expensive transmission repair later.
